Cancellation Fees

If you cancel your participation less than 30 days before the retreat, you will be liable for the full cost of the retreat unless we find another participant to take your place. This is because it is difficult to find a replacement so close to the start date. You are, of course, welcome to find a replacement participant yourself. ​

A cancellation is considered effective once the cancellation notice is received via email at janna@mielensopusointu.fi. ​

 

If participation is not cancelled and the participant fails to attend, the full participation fee will be charged. ​

 

Please ensure you have appropriate insurance and cancellation coverage. If you fall ill before the retreat, remember to obtain a medical certificate. You can use the medical certificate to claim compensation for the cancellation through your insurance provider. ​ ​

 

Transferring Your Spot to Another Person

You have the right to transfer your spot to another person at any time before the retreat. Please notify us of the change without delay. In such cases, no cancellation fee will be charged. I will also assist in finding a replacement participant whenever possible. However, you remain responsible for the participation fee until we have agreed upon the transfer of the spot. ​ ​

 

Retreat Cancellation

The retreat will take place subject to a sufficient number of participants. The minimum number of participants is stated in the retreat description. The retreat will be cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not met. In such a case, notification of the cancellation will be given no later than 14 days before the retreat begins. If I am unable to organize the retreat due to my own illness or injury, the serious illness, injury, or death of a close relative, or any other unexpected reason (so-called *force majeure* situations), I will notify you of the cancellation immediately upon the impediment arising. Naturally, no fees will be charged in cases where I have to cancel the retreat myself.
