Reservation and cancellation conditions for retreats

Booking conditions

After your registration, we will send you a payment link or an invoice for the 200€ advance payment. Your reservation will take effect after you have paid the prepayment. We will send you the final invoice, which must be paid 31 days before the start of the retreat.

Accommodation is in shared 2-person rooms. Please let us know when booking if you are coming with a friend. The possibility of staying in a single room can only be confirmed shortly before the retreat. It depends on the number of people who have registered.

Registration is binding. The reservation fee is non-refundable. However, you can cancel the retreat with a sick certificate or by transferring your place to another person.

 

 

Cancellation fees

If you cancel your participation later than 31 days before the retreat, you will have to pay the full price of the retreat unless we find another participant to replace you. Of course, you can also find a new participant to replace you.


The cancellation is considered to have taken effect when the cancellation notice arrives by e-mail to the address reetta@northernsoul.fi or janna@mielensopusointu.fi


If the participation is not cancelled and the participant does not show up, the participant will be charged the full participation fee.


Please take care of your insurance and cancellation cover.  If you fall ill before the retreat, remember to get a medical certificate. With a medical certificate, you can apply for compensation for the cancellation of a retreat through your insurance.


Participants are not separately insured, so we recommend taking out travel and/or accident insurance for the duration of the trip.

Assigning a place to another person

You have the right to give up your place to another person at any time before the retreat. Please notify us of the change of person without delay. In such a case, no cancellation fee will be charged.

We will also help you find another participant to replace you, if possible. However, you are responsible for the participation fee until we have agreed to give up the place.
 

Cancellation of a retreat

 

The realization of the retreat depends on the number of participants. The minimum number of participants is stated in the retreat's introduction. The retreat will be cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not met. In this case, the cancellation will be notified no later than 31 days before the start of the retreat and all fees will be refunded.

 

Please note that we do not reimburse travel expenses. 

If we are not able to organise a retreat due to my own illness or accident, a serious illness, accident or death of my next of kin or some other unexpected reason (so-called  force majeure situations), I will notify you of the cancellation immediately after the obstacle has arisen.

In cases where I have to cancel the retreat myself, no fees are charged.
